Amy Nored Howard M.S.,CCC-SLP graduated from the University of Mississippi with both her bachelor's and master's degree in communicative disorders. She has always worked with the pediatric population and loves it. From 1997 to 2004, Amy worked on the Department of Defense early intervention team at Camp Lejeune. In 2004, she started Speech 4 Kidz, Inc. Amy has worked with children with articulation delays, apraxia, expressive/receptive language delays, fluency and autism spectrum disorders. She has 3 children and enjoys spending time with her family!

Laura Graff
Speech Language Pathologist

Graduated from the University Northern Iowa in 2000 with a Master of Arts degree, with an emphasis in Neurogenic Communication Disorders. She has been working exclusively in the 0-3 year old population for the past 9 years. Laura really enjoys this age group and finds it very rewarding to see the progress children can make at these ages. She especially enjoys teaching children basic sign language, working with children with apraxia of speech and autism spectrum disorders.

Kelly DuQue, M.A.,CCC-SLP. Kelly graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a Masters of Arts in 2000. Her heart has always been in pediatrics and has specialized in that area since then. She is VitalStim certified and enjoys working with feeding and swallowing as well as all speech and language disorders.

Amy has received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and has been working with the preschool population since 2000. In addition to speech therapy, Amy has training in early childhood development and experience educating families on the use of alternative communication systems such as American Sign Language, picture exchange systems and assistive technology.

Chamika Smokes is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina and graduated from Cape Fear Community College with an A.A.S. in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Chamika has been providing speech therapy services to the pediatric population for more than seven years.

Cristy Bain
Developmental Therapist

Graduated in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Studies. She has enjoyed working with the birth through kindergarten population in various preschools as lead teacher and was also the education coordinator for the Headstart program. Cristy is now certified as an Infant Toddler Family Specialist and works exclusively with children 0 to 3 years who are eligible for the Children's Developmental Services Agency. She lives in Wilmington with her husband and 3 young children. Cristy enjoys spending time with her family on the boat or at the beach!

Gail Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Studies and minor in Music from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. She has worked as a theater educator with several organizations in Greensboro and now also works at The Performance Club Studio Theater in Wilmington. She enjoys working at Speech 4 Kidz helping make the office run!

Speech Language Pathologist

Elizabeth "Liz" Cooper is a board certified speech language pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach. She has been employed in pediatric private practices in California and Louisiana and has worked for the Camp Lejeune Dependent School System in North Carolina. From 2004 to 2008, she owned a private practice in Northern Virginia providing in-home and school-based therapy. Her areas of specialty include: apraxia, articulation disorders and receptive and expressive language disorders resulting from various developmental disabilities.

Colette Medlin is a certified speech language pathologist in Jacksonville, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 2002 and Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University in 2004. Colette moved to North Carolina in August 2004 and worked in the preschool program of Onslow county schools for 2 years. She has been with Speech 4 Kidz, Inc. since August of 2006. ĘColette's husband is in the United States Marine Corps and they have a little boy named Jack.

LuAnn Bramucci
Speech Language Pathologist

LuAnn Bramucci is a certified speech language pathologist in Wilmington and Jacksonville. LuAnn graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in education from Edinboro University and a Master of Arts in communication disorders from University of Pittsburgh. She worked in Connecticut for 18 years with outpatient and inpatient pediatric population. LuAnn moved to North Carolina in 2009 when she began working for Speech 4 Kidz. LuAnn loves spending time with her daughter.

Natalie Goss
Speech Language Pathologist

Natalie Goss is a certified speech language pathologist in Jacksonville. She graduated in 2001 with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The College of Wooster. She then graduated with her Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology in 2004 from Case Western Reserve University. Natalie worked in the Florida and Maryland school systems for a total of 3 years. She then worked with inpatient residents at the Life Care Center of America in Massachusetts for about 2 years. In 2009 Natalie moved to Wilmington, NC and started at Speech 4 Kidz in 2011.

Taylor Chewning
Speech Language Pathologist

Taylor graduated from East Carolina University with a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in December of 2009. Although Taylor has experience working with patients from all age ranges, he especially enjoys providing therapy to a pediatric population. Taylor has training in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and has done work through the New Hanover County School system. When not at work, Taylor loves playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife.

Melissa Dowd

Melissa graduated from UNC Wilmington in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. She moved to Wilmington, NC in 2009 and has worked at Speech 4 Kidz since August 2010. Melissa enjoys playing tennis, drawing/painting, shopping and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer Fisk
Speech Language Pathologist

Jennifer graduated in 1999 from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's in communication disorders. She then graduated from Valdosta State University in 2001 with a master's in communication science disorders. After graduating she worked with traumatic brain injury and stroke patients in Honolulu, Hawaii. During the last nine years she worked with in a pediatric speech practice in Columbus, Georgia. She has now moved to Fayetteville because her husband is in the army.
