Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists are required to have a master's or doctoral-level degree in Occupational Therapy, pass national boards and be state certified. Each therapist is licensed to practice in North Carolina and maintain certification through yearly continuing education. Occupational therapists work with children that have difficulty participating in meaningful activities needed to successfully complete daily tasks and live their life to the fullest. This includes the child's current "occupations" of learning at school, playing, completing self care tasks, relating to others and fulfilling their role as a family member.
